Here’s what you need to know about working in today’s market. 

Have you heard the phrase, “Prove them wrong”? It's one of my favorite mottos, and I try to live by it every day.

For example, we recently sold a home in Wheaton despite other agents telling the owners that their asking price was too high. One agent even messaged me saying that he wouldn't have listed the home at that price. However, we were able to prove them wrong. We analyzed the market and found a void in the particular price point, so we listed the home at 20% higher than the suggested price.

We also created urgency by allowing showings only after a few days and hosting an open house. Through networking and reaching out to buyer's agents, we had over 20 people and received three offers, all above the asking price. The sellers were very pleased with the outcome.

If you want to sell your home, it's important to work with a consultant advisor who knows the market and has the best strategies to get your home sold. Don't settle for a part-time real estate agent who will give you a lower asking price.
